At the sitdown, they showed this really interesting clip on the art of riding a horse forward, and ultimately, its not about training a horse's body, but training a horse's mind.
So I googled it for you all ;) It gives me some interesting ideas on how I now want to ride Enrique in order to get him more responsive to my leg-because I have a tendency to kick every so often ;) and my leg really moves too far back where its almost ineffective-especially on such a big animal.

I have a new favorite freestyle. By Anky (who, love her or haste her, really does do phenomenal work on the freestyle) But I just adore Painted Black-although he's not as flashy in his movement as Salinero or Bonfire was (he's who she used as her demo horse at Soruce Meadows too) and this music suits him fantastically well (and a hell of a lot better than that awful freestyle music at the Olympics!)
